The craftsman uses a pebble in order to polish the coating surface in circular gestures. Thanks to the pebble, the surface is not really smooth and it produces a very original and beautiful aspect. The following day of the application, the tadelakt is rubbed once more time with a pebble but also with a soft soap diluted in water. This second application is necessary to create its final hardness.
After a drying of numerous weeks, a natural wax is applied with a cloth. Once polished, the tadelakt is brighter. Numerous objects are made in tadelakt like vases, bowls, ash pits…
