These intensive courses are intended for professionals with
a high skill level or interested trainees who have performed
at least 3 workshops of formation.
This workshop is a “master class” level improvement
in the field of restoration, decoration and stucco. This course
concerns the most difficult realisations of Tadelakt, Sgraffito
and Lime stucco, stuccoes with plaster, and sculpted earth
coatings.
For the realisation of strong stuccos and of lime and plaster-based
decorations, we need some very specific techniques. |

From the Romans to modern
times, those two typical elements of the Italian decoration
have known some outstanding developments.
The main point of this intensive course is to understand and
to control the different steps of the stucco techniques and
to be able to work on large surfaces.
As a consequence, these techniques are used in order to contribute to the preservation
of the historical heritage. It concerns also decoration itself and it’s
integration into modern architecture. |
