This course is an overall view of the many different applications
possible and the materials used in professional decorating.
From base products onward, the chemistry of binders and minerals
products are discussed and then applied on the wall. Multiple
applications are practiced in order to control every technical
and aesthetical aspect of the materials.
With coatings, a very creative field is offered and the effects
can vary immensely. |

Decorative
coatings and finishes in lime
Washes and coatings, Roman lime, Marbled stuccoes, Blending colours,
Brush effects, Polished lime, Mineral glazing, Moroccan glazing,
Marmorino, hemp, straw…
With different finishes (imprints, polished, with soft soap…)
and with patinas on coatings (bronze and nacre effect…).
