| Mixed with
some sand and water and applied many times on the wall, the
lime will turn back to its stone nature. The painter will intervene
before the lime becomes stone. The painter uses only some pigment
and water. The chemistry is simple but spectacular. It is a
magical moment. It is very precise moment where the colour,
mixed with the mineral materials transformation, will be fasten
forever. |

The pigments
which are applied on the damp mortar are not absorbed in depth
as we may think. Once the mortar applied on the wall, a slow
process of carbonatation begins.
As a consequence, trough a process of crystallisation, the
mortar will fasten the colour forever. |
